How would you describe what your company does to a friend or family member who may not know? At Zaniboni Lighting we produce a line of signature LED light fixtures aimed at the hospitality and architectural markets. We combine advanced LED technology with centuries of Italian design, and proudly manufacture them here in the USA.
What are some key accomplishments/statistics your company has achieved in the past 12 months? We have taken our company through another amazing year with profits of 51 percent over the previous year, and have added many more satisfied customers to our already extensive list of companies that benefit from our fixtures. Customers include Starbucks, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Disney, Marriott, Hilton, St. Regis Resort, Nike, Royal Caribbean cruise line, Tiffany & Co., and many more. While receiving a number of local business awards this past year, we were also the recipient of the prestigious German Design Award for the in-house design of two of our products.
Are you currently hiring? If so, how many positions and what types? Yes, due to our constant expansion and drive to remain innovative, we are always looking for more employees. Currently, we are looking to expand our marketing, engineering, and sales teams.
What makes your company a fun place to work? Zaniboni Lighting’s work hard, play hard environment allows for a strong, upbeat, and dedicated team who are proud of the products we produce. We believe that each one of us can make a difference and that the passion and pride we put into our work every day brings about an infectious vibe of fun and excitement. We reward our employees through our Employee of the Month game, as well as our many group rewards such as breakfast and donuts, food truck/company picnics, and group outings such as the beach, go-carting, Busch Gardens, and more. We are also active in our community races as both sponsors and participants.
What is your outlook for the Tampa Bay economy in the years ahead? Tampa Bay is currently going through tremendous business growth, and we foresee this as a continuing trend and encourage our fellow nominees to invest in our local business community.
